4 mobile services in India to cater the health needs

Government of India has launched 4 mobile services in India to cater the health needs of citizens of India. It’s a very significant step in the domain of Public Health. Following are the four services launched :

1.Kilkari : It is a mobile service that gives audio messages on pregnancy, child birth and child care. It’s phase one is implemented in the following states :

  • Madhya Pradesh
  • Odhisa
  • Rajasthan
  • Uttarakhand
  • Uttar Prades

2. Mobile Academy : It aims at providing mobile courses on maternal and child health. It will also imporve the knowledge and communication skills of ASHAs. It can be accessed anytime.

It is implemented in the following states :

  • Jharkhand
  • Madhya Pradesh
  • Rajasthan
  • Uttarakhand

3. TB Helpline : Get all the information related to TB by giving a missed call on the toll free number 1800-11-6666. It is implemented in the following states.

  • Punjab
  • Haryana
  • Chandigarh
  • Delhi

4. M-cessation : This is an initiative by the government of India to help quit tobacco use. Give a missed call to  011-22901701 or register using this link.
