Micro Edge Computer Academy, Karnataka Distributes Digital Appreciation Certificates
45 students were awarded NDLM certificates by NDLM Training Partner, Micro Edge Computer Academy on March, 24, 2016 at Kannada Sahitya Parishatt Bhavan, Hassan, Karnataka.
On this occasion, Local College Principles were invited as special guests. Over 150 people including students, parents and staff of the organization attended the organization. Dr. Shyalaja Kumari (Principal- A V K women’s degree college) spoke about the importance of digital literacy and emphasized on learning how to use technology’s tools explore new opportunities and face challenges in future.
President of the organization, Mr. Sharad Kumar Tripathi addressed the students, he said that everybody, especially women must become digitally literate in order to grow and make the community digitally literate. Educators as well as students must thoughtfully determine the essential tools for digital literacy. Mrs. Arpan Tripathi (Director), Mr. Rajesh Maurya (Project Director), Mr. Vinod Vishwakarma( Project Manager), Mr. Devendra Prasad (State Head), Mr. Basav R Kesoor ( State Coordinator) also were a part of this event.A total of 7,260 students from the academy were enrolled for NDLM training of which 1,808 students have cleared the examination from the state of Karnataka State.
