Servify, a Mumbai-based tech startup launched its mobile app-based solution that aims to work as a personal assistant for all electronic gadgets and appliances owned by consumers in a household.

This application, in addition to helping consumers store their bills and warranty on cloud, also connects with brand authorized service ecosystem when consumers need a reliable repair.

The app boasts of being the first-of-its-kind, enabling service during warranty and out of warranty as it connects the brand authorized service ecosystem.

The app helps consumers track the status of service request real-time including, showing the distance of a service center on Google Maps within the app when the consumer has to carry the device to the nearest service center.

Some of the unique features of Servify app are as below:

  1. Service through brand authorized ecosystem – No fake parts or no unqualified engineers; and support available even in warranty#
  2. Supports all service modes – Onsite repair, carry-in repair, pick/drop service*
  3. Complete transparency – Track the repair status real-time, know who is coming to your place (if onsite repair), know how much it costs for repair if out of warranty
  4. Option to record voice or attach a picture while raising a request
  5. Option to pay through the app*

The consumer version of the app, available both on Android and iOS platforms, supports services for numerous devices varying from air conditioners to mobile phones and simplifies the post-sales experience for users with their brands without having to go through the brands’ call center any longer, or standing in a long queue at a service center.

Mr. Sreevathsa Prabhakar, the Founder of Servify said, “Devices are getting smarter by the day, but the after sales service ecosystem is not, unfortunately. And the problem is not just for the consumer, but for the brands and their representatives too as the technology intervention is either not holistic or in some cases not existing at all; service traditionally being a low priority item for the leadership across most brands. Our mission is to upgrade the entire service ecosystem, thus bringing in hassle-free ownership experience to the consumer,” .

Servify aims to bring proactive ownership experience to consumers by bridging the gap between pre and post sales experience. It has begun with post sales service for Apple devices, and aims to launch for a wider product range soon, as it is partnering with multiple OEM brands currently.
